The Kennedy-Longfellow School aims to be an equitable and inclusive environment for all of our students. We are proud of our anti-bias/anti-racist ABAR curriculum. We are also introducing a new group called Rainbow Club!
A Rainbow Club is an elementary school version of a GSA (Gender and Sexuality Alliance). At the elementary school level, these clubs can address topics of family, identity, and respect. They can be a space for LGBTQ+ families, students, and allies to connect. Rainbow Clubs promote a safe, healthy school climate, and an anti-bullying message. At this time the Rainbow Club is for 4th and 5th grade students that are interested.
Again, we want all our students and families to feel safe and supported. We want to work together to make that happen!
