Our first KLo Market of the year was a great success! The weather was beautiful and the tent was a perfect home! In addition to our 100 or so families that joined us, we had several visitors from the city as well. A few member of City’s Community Engagement Team joined us: the “CET” is a group of outreach workers that represent some of the many cultures within Cambridge. We had Spanish, Chinese, Benglashi, Arabic and Amharic speaking team members helping out and talking with families. We also had a visit from Vice Mayor, Alanna Mallon, who was one of the co-founders of the KLO Market 7 years ago! Because it was such a great success here at our school the spread to 4 other Cambridge Public Schools. If you can’t come to our Market we encourage you to attend one at another school. The School Based Markets are open to all Cambridge Public School families.
