Tis the Season for your Sprouts to Return to Classrooms
Posted on 01/11/2023
CitySprouts enjoyed an amazing fall with students out in their gardens! Last month, students planted tulip and garlic bulbs along with seedlings in protective hoop houses so we can extend our growing season through the winter. We hope you had the opportunity to experience first hand the beauty your student/s helped create and maintain. As the leaves fall and our summer crops fade away, we put our gardens to bed for the winter. Naturally, this time of year brings less opportunity for students to engage with the natural world, which is why our garden educators are eagerly gearing up to bring the outside world into your classrooms!

Looking forward, we encourage you and your family members to sign up for our volunteer list so we can focus our collective efforts on making your garden a welcoming community space.
