On Thursday, May 29th, the Kennedy-Longfellow community hosted their annual Spring Showcase and International Potluck. The wonderful evening celebrated students’ hard work as well as the rich cultural diversity present within the school. From Japanese sushi to Haitian chicken patties, the decorated cafeteria was filled with delicious dishes representing countries all around the world.

Throughout the main lobby and the kindergarten classroom hallway, each classroom showcased samples of student projects related to English language arts, math, social studies, and science curricula. The schools’ community partners, East End House, Title One, Community Schools, CitySprouts, and the Cambridge Health Alliance, were also present, informing families of available opportunities.

In addition, there were several games, activities, and raffle prizes related to world geography. The Spring Showcase and International Potluck was an incredibly fun and well-attended event, with well over 200 people in attendance! Special thanks to all of the many families who contributed a dish!
